Great Lakes Dental Excellence is committed to providing you and your family with the best dental care. We stay up to date with the constant changes, recommendations and requirements in accordance with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and American Dental Association(ADA), OSHA, and MIOSHA recommendations. We continue to make necessary changes to ensure the safety of our patients and our team. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety and to provide excellent dental care.

Following CDC, OSHA, and MIOSHA guidance, here are a few changes that we will continue to implement:  

Pre-appointment screening with your confirmation calls. If you have email or text messaging confirmation, the screening questions may be answered electronically. If we do not receive it electronically, we will be calling to pre-screen and screen day of appointment. This is a required by OSHA.

All patients must wear a self-provided face covering while in the office. OSHA requires that we wear masks around patients regardless of vaccination status, and you will be asked to wear your mask before and after your treatment. 

Pre-rinse before appointment. This helps to eliminate the amount of bacteria or virus in your mouth.

Staff will continue to wear extra protective wear. This may make communication more difficult, but we promise we are still there underneath our new gear with a smile on. 

Air Filtration. We have upgraded out air filtration in the office.
